With the word Nu is a participatory photographic project aiming to involve the community of Martano, a town in the Apulian hinterland of lower Salento.
The work aims to rewrite a poem by the local poet Bodini, involving the village.
People choose a word or a verse with which they feel an elective affinity, a fragment of poetry that evokes a personal experience, a memory, and write it on an object with which they are then photographed.
Through this process of relational art the whole village becomes guardian and witness of poetry and becomes the entire village become a poem in itself.
The final part of the project is an exhibition at the Baronial Palazzo with the support of the local association Oikos and the municipality of Martano.
