A man with a mirrored-box head walks around the city of Rome. The reflecting surfaces enhance the process of exchange between the inner reality and outside world. A dialogue, where the construction of the self is seen as a permanent becoming. Each encounter is an osmosis where separation is just apparent. Aisthesis refers both to the act of perceiving the world through the senses as imagining it: imagination creates the world, and it's created by it.

A gold fish swims above the city of Rome. Thanks to its presence a boring Sunday scenario becomes ironic and new, as in a surrealistic picture, but in motion. In suspension and looking right through its banality, we find a different angle on the world.

“Rien de rien” is a phrase from the “letter to the illiterates” by Antonin Artaud. An affirmation, a question, or an ironic hint to confound the public’s expectations. A desolating truth, but also a potential opening to the invisible. These are the words that the man, actor/spectator, repeats both to us and to himself, while interacting with an old cinema seats, within a dimension that appears to be spatially and temporally suspended, the only reference to the passing of time is the rhythm of the sea and the sound of the cicadas

Wo/andering is an investigation around feelings of estrangement and wander: an imaginary group of tourists, guided by a man with a white umbrella is wondering around without getting anywhere. The group migrates through deserted fields to desolated urban spaces and ends up onto a rooftop, and disappears into a shed as a train passes by. A voice over confronts the viewer with questions about the nature of a journey and our transient condition.

Double channel video installation, projected on a wall via the reflection of a mirror: memories, fragments, dreams, a man and a woman trying to communicate with no sound, through colored bubbles and glass surfaces, images of transparency and impermanence.
